Newly adopted 2013 NYC Real Estate Tax Rates – Here are the tax rates for fiscal year 2013 (7/1/12 – 6/30/13) adopted by the New York City Council at its meeting of November 13, 2012.

1.     Single Family Homes           18.569

2.     Apartment Buildings          13.181

3.      Utilities                                  12.477

4.      All other properties            10.288

The tax bill you receive in January will be based on the FY13 tax rate and will include any adjustment required to reflect this adopted rate.
